Distance Sales Contract

This Distance Sales Contract is required under Turkish Consumer Law (Law No. 6502) and the Distance Contracts Regulation. It applies to each order you place on oriento.store.
1. Parties

2. Subject & Scope
This contract governs the distance sale and delivery of products ordered on oriento.store in accordance with applicable Turkish consumer legislation, including the Distance Contracts Regulation. It applies to each order you place on the Website.
3. Definitions
- Website: oriento.store
- Products: physical goods (beauty, food, home, tech, lifestyle) sold by the Seller.
- Carrier: contracted shipping companies used for delivery.
4. Pre-Contract Information & Acceptance
- Key information about the Seller, product features, price, taxes, shipping costs, delivery method/time, right of withdrawal and returns appears during checkout.
- By submitting your order, you acknowledge you have read this Contract and the pre-contract information and agree to be bound by them.
5. Order & Contract Formation
- Your order is an offer to buy Products. The contract is formed when we confirm the order or dispatch the Products, whichever occurs first.
- We may refuse/cancel an order due to stock unavailability, payment issues, suspected fraud, or legal/compliance concerns. Any amounts paid will be refunded.
6. Prices & Payment
- Prices, taxes and shipping costs are shown at checkout in USD, EUR, GBP or TRY as applicable. Errors and omissions excepted.
- Payments are processed by iyzico. 3-D Secure may be required. We do not store full card numbers or CVV.
- Authorization may occur at checkout; capture typically occurs on dispatch.
7. Delivery
- Orders ship from Istanbul via contracted carriers. Delivery times shown are estimates. See our Shipping Policy for zones (Turkey, Europe, North America, Gulf, Rest of World) and free-shipping thresholds.
- Tracking details are provided when your order ships. Please ensure your address and contact details are accurate.
- Inspect parcels on delivery and note visible damage with the courier. Report loss/damage to us within 7 days of delivery (or expected delivery for non-delivery).
- International deliveries may incur customs duties/taxes or brokerage; unless stated otherwise, these are the recipient’s responsibility.
8. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)
- You may withdraw from the contract within 14 days after the day you receive the Products, without giving any reason.
- To exercise this right, notify us within the period (see Section 17 for contact). You may use the Model Withdrawal Form below or any clear statement by e-mail.
- After notifying us, return the Products without undue delay and within 14 days of your notice, following our RMA instructions.
- Unless we state otherwise, you bear the direct cost of return shipping and remain responsible for the goods until they reach us (use trackable shipping).
9. Withdrawal Exceptions (Examples)
- Sealed goods not suitable for return due to health/hygiene reasons once unsealed (e.g., opened cosmetics).
- Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized.
- Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
- Goods that, after delivery, are inseparably mixed with other items.
- Services fully performed with your prior consent before the withdrawal period ends; instant services.
- Digital content not supplied on a tangible medium once performance has begun with your consent.
- Services relating to accommodation, transport, car rental, catering, or leisure activities for a specific date/period.
10. Returns Process
- Request an RMA (return authorization) and return address from support before sending items back.
- Items must be unused, complete and in original packaging (reasonable handling to establish nature/characteristics/functioning is allowed).
- Include order number and contact details in the parcel to speed up processing.
11. Refunds
- We refund all payments we received from you for the returned product (including standard delivery costs, if applicable) without undue delay and no later than 14 days from your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or you provide evidence of having sent them back.
- Refunds are made to the original payment method. Card issuers typically post refunds within 3–14 business days after we submit them.
12. Defective / Non-Conforming Goods
- Your statutory consumer rights apply for defective or non-conforming goods.
- Contact us promptly with your order details and photos/videos of the issue. Remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund in accordance with law.
13. Personal Data
We process personal data to fulfill this Contract (order, payment, shipping, returns) and for security/fraud prevention. See our Privacy Policy for details. Payments are handled by iyzico; delivery data is shared with our carriers to deliver your order.
14. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures due to events beyond reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, governmental actions, network outages). In such cases, obligations are suspended for the duration of the force majeure event.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This Contract is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. You may apply to Consumer Arbitration Boards or Consumer Courts within the monetary limits and rules set by law. Subject to mandatory consumer venue rules, Istanbul courts and enforcement offices have jurisdiction.
17. Miscellaneous
- If any clause of this Contract is held invalid, the remaining clauses remain in force.
- Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
- The current version published on this page prevails over printed or prior versions.
